Teacher Professor

So, I’m trying very, very hard to make the deadline for a grant proposal that looks at how teachers can help anxiety and stress in children with autism and Tourette’s.  Yup, research is me-search! It’s complicated, I’m new at this grant writing stuff, I’m trying not to let down my partners, I’m trying to be there for my kids and well… I’m stressed.  Ah.. the irony of it all just gets to me.

  1. I just wanted to offer my support. You are awesome and you can do anything you want to!

  2. Stress is an old companion of mine, too. I got behind in my schedule this summer, and now I’m trying to catch up and finish four new paintings in the next two to three weeks to meet show deadlines. One is in Kerrville, TX, and one is in Tucson, AZ. I’m painting small paintings, and I know I’ll meet the deadlines, but it is stressful work. It’s so hard for me to relax and let the artistic “muses” lead me when I’m under so much pressure. And when I finish these, I’ll need to get started on a 30×40 canvas for my licensing agent in Santa Fe. At least that painting is already in the sketch stage and all planned out. That one will be relaxing and fun.

    • There’s a reason they’re called “dead”lines…
